Dharma Treasures Donations

This is the time you can bring in donations of altar and ritual items for the Dharma Treasures event on September 13th. If the items are not adopted during the event on the 13th, we request you pick them back up between 2:00-4:00pm on the 13th, or by appointment with Cherie and Joanna at treasures@kadampa-center.org.
We will accept the following:
- Statues
- Bell & Dorjes
- Stupas
- Damaru (drums)
- Thangkas
- Incense Burners
- Tsa Tsas
- Prayer Wheels
- Mandala Sets
- Malas
- Altar Cloths
- Pictures of H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama; Lama Zopa Rinpoche & Deities
- Water Bowls sets
- New Prayer Flags
- Butter Lamps
- Meditation Cushions
- Eight Auspicious Symbols
We are unable to accept the following:
Books, DVD’s, CD’s, clothing, jewelry, damaged items, incomplete sets, and any items not appropriate for an altar or dharma practice.
How to donate
Donations may be delivered directly to Joanna Smith or Cherie Sutorus in the Kadampa Center lobby at the following times:
Sun 8/31 10am-12:30pm
Sun 9/7 10am-12:30pm
Tue 9/2 7pm-9pm
Tue 9/9 7pm-9pm
Thu 9/4 7pm-9pm
Fri 9/12 4pm-6pm
Fri 9/5 11:30am-1pm
Sat 9/13 8am-10am
Please do NOT drop off items at the Center without making prior arrangements with Joanna or Cherie. All remaining items at the end of the sale will be returned to the original owners. (We regret that we are unable to store or dispose of them for you.)
