Friday, June 2, (All day) to Wednesday, June 7, (All day) 2017

Taking the Path to a Happy Life

With Visiting Teacher Don Handrick

We all want to be happy and to avoid suffering -- so what's the secret to accomplishing that goal?

In his first visit to Kadampa Center, Don Handrick will share some of the tools that can help us build our own happiness, and also help nurture happiness for those around us.

Over the weekend, we will explore "Eight Steps to a Happy Life," the Noble Eightfold Path, which offers guidelines for how to live our lives.

On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Don will take on happiness from a different angle, with teachings on "What's so Bad about Complaining?" and "Using Work as a Spiritual Path"

Don will also teach Monday night's session of the Discovering Buddhism class on Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels.

Friday, June 2  7-8:30 pm Eight Steps to a Happy Life (Workshop)
Saturday, June 3  10 am -noon and 1:30-4 pm Eight Steps to a Happy Life (Workshop)

As always, these Dharma teachings will be offered with no entrance fee. However, there are extensive costs involved in bringing a visiting teacher from another city, including travel and food.  A great way to support the teachings is through sponsorship!
