The Light of the Path Retreat needs help from all our brothers and sisters, both in North America and all around the world! Lama Zopa Rinpoche has advised us to recite 100,000 Praises to the 21 Taras to remove obstacles and create the causes for the 2020 retreat. It is up to us, Rinpoche's students, to do these practices - and what an amazing opportunity this is! |

Think what it will feel like on the first day of retreat to know, "I helped make this possible"!
We have completed 30,000 praises. Now it's time to double down and complete the task. We can do it!
As of early October when we posted this page, there are just over 108 days until the end of January, so we set our goal for completion at January 31. To do that, we need help from a lot of people - but with a lot of people, we can break it down into portions that are easy to incorporate into our daily practice, for about 3-1/2 months.
For example if 108 people join the effort, and each recite 6 Praises to the 21 Taras daily, and we'll reach our goal in 108 days.
We need only 93 people who will recite 7 Praises daily, and only 31 Wow-Wow-Wow people to recite 21 Praises daily.
In reality, it will take a combination of people each contributing as they are able - but we're asking everyone to stretch a little bit.
