Join us for the Closing Ceremony as monks from India deconstruct the Sand Mandala of Peace & Prosperity!
The Peace & Prosperity Mandala is a representation of the pure land of Green Tara Buddha. Creation of the sand mandala takes place over the course of three days. On the final day there will be an opportunity to view the completed mandala up close, followed by the Closing Ceremony where, in recognition of the impermance of all phenomena, the mandala will be deconstructed and the sand will be taken to a body of water to be dispersed. Some of the blessed sand will be available for attendees to take home with them, including instructions on how to use it. Bring friends and family of all ages ~ everyone is welcome!
