Healing Retreat: Opening Ceremony

Kadampa Center's first annual Healing Retreat begins with an Opening Ceremony of the Mandala of Healing
	Tuesday, August 26, 2025 beginning at 10am (ET) in Kadampa Center's gompa All are invited to attend!

Join us for the start of Kadampa Center's first annual Healing Retreat with an Opening Ceremony of the Mandala of Healing!  Geshe Sangpo, a resident teacher at Kadampa Center who specializes in the ritual practices of Tibetan Buddhism, initiates the creation of a sand mandala of healing during the Opening Ceremony.  This powerful ritual practice takes place over the course of four days, as Geshe Sangpo meticulously sprinkles sand to create the intricate patterns of the mandala.  The Mandala of Healing is a symbolic representation of the pure land of Medicine Buddha, a healing master whose practices are known to be one of the most powerful ways of overcoming disease and eliminating problems. 

Bring friends and family of all ages ~ everyone is welcome and all will benefit from simply seeing the Mandala of Healing!
