One of the most powerful ways to create the causes to meet teachings and highly realized teachers in our future lives is to pray for the teachers we have in this life. When a teacher has passed away from this life, we pray for his swift return.

While striving single-pointedly for the sake of the Victorious One’s teachings, The sole gateway through which all benefit and happiness emerge, And for mother living beings, You suddenly departed to peace — what a great loss!
