Ali Burke has been involved with the Kadampa Center since 2004 when she was inspired by Geshe-la's teachings that she attended with her brother. Recently Ali noticed the children who used to attend the Family Program were all grown up. The Kadampa Center had a large and vibrant program for children until a little after the COVID restrictions began. When Venerable Robina was visiting after COVID, Ali heard one of the "now grown" children telling her she grew up hearing Venerable's teachings - how amazing! Ali wanted to help get the Family Program started again so other children could grow up in the Kadampa Center Community hearing our dear Geshes' and other teachers' wisdom. Ali has been a Child Therapist for over 20 years and has a young niece she visits often. She hopes this program will benefit children in the area who will in turn benefit others.
