Meditation 101

Meditation 101 is an introductory course created by FPMT.  The course is great for beginners, those who have practiced in other traditions, and anyone who simply wants an opportunity to refresh techniques or their practice. The basic Tibetan Buddhist meditations taught during this course can be used by anyone to create more peace and happiness in daily life. 

The basic Buddhist meditation techniques covered include:

  • Definition and purpose of meditation
  • Creating a space for meditation
  • Breathing meditations
  • Mindfulness meditations
  • Visualization meditations
  • Analytical meditations
