Serenity Gardeners need your help!
Our flower beds have gotten so big, we need you.
Some of the tasks are:
- Watering containers and flower beds
- Deadheading spent flowers
- Pulling weeds
- Planting plants that come in between grounds days
Ideally we would like three people per flower bed as many hands make light work. We have divided the beds into 10 areas so we are looking for about 30 people. Even if you have a brown thumb or haven't gardened before and want to learn and help, you can!
It is a great way to introduce kids to nature and gardening. In addition, know that your help benefits the center and its members.
We strive to make the center an environment that is welcoming and peaceful...not only to human beings but also to our neighbors: Birds, crickets, ants, worms, bees, butterflies, lizards etc.
