Shankha Mitra

Shankha Mitra has been an aspiring Buddhist for 20 years when he got started at retreat centers in the San Francisco area.  He has been a member of the Kadampa Center since 2006 when he moved to North Carolina.  Shankha helps in teaching the Discovering Buddhism program.  By day he works as a computer scientist.  He lives in Carrboro with two crazy kids, two intelligent, beautiful and patient dogs and one well-trained wife.
