If you are working towards completing the Discovering Buddhism two-year course, are simply interested in learning more about tantra, or are considering taking tantric initiations, this class will be incredibly beneficial to you! Learn what tantra is, how it works, and why it is a powerful form of practice. Get a broad overview of the four classes of tantra and learn to practice simple Kriya tantric methods. *** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SELF-STUDY MODULE ***
This module of the Discovering Buddhism course will be offered only as a self-study module due to the upcoming visit of Khensur Rinpoche to Kadampa Center throughout the month of November. During his visit, Khensur Rinpoche will confer four tantric initiations. Students who would like to learn more about tantra and/or who plan to take these initiations are strongly encouraged to complete this module of the Discovering Buddhism course on their own via the FPMT Online Learning Center.
