Advanced Studies in Buddhism with Geshe Gelek (hybrid)

ADVANCED STUDIES IN BUDDHISM with GESHE GELEK Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:30 pm IMPORTANT: This is an ongoing class intended for dedicated students who have a strong foundation in Mahayana Buddhism.  This is not a drop-in class nor is it intended for beginners.    In the Advanced Studies in Buddhism class, Geshe Gelek leads students on a precise and in-depth study of the Buddhadharma.  The current topic of investigation is Chapter IX: The Perfection of Wisdom from Shantideva's Bodhicarayavatara (Skt.), translated into English as A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life.  Please use the links below to access the text(s) being used during class.

HOW TO ATTEND the ADVANCED STUDIES IN BUDDHISM CLASS with GESHE GELEK

1. Attend onsite, in person at Kadampa Center - Attending this class in person is recommended for students who live locally.

2. Join on Zoom by registering HERE - Participating in class via Zoom is recommended for students who do not live in the Raleigh area.  Please have your camera on, if possible, and mindfully participate in class as you would in the gompa in front of Geshe Gelek as his student.

3. While classes are live streamed on YouTube HERE, this view-only, non-interactive option is not recommended as a way to attend this class.  Recordings of the class are available on the Kadampa Center YouTube channel HERE for students who would like to go back and review classes and/or watch missed classes.
