Khensur Rinpoche confers Refuge and the Lay Precepts

~ Refuge Ceremony ~

The opportunity to take Refuge is a rare one, and even more rare is the opportunity to do so with a teacher such as Khensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Delek. On this precious day, Khensur Rinpoche confers vows of Refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha and offers the opportunity to take the Five Lay Precepts.

Saturday, November 5, 10 am in the gompa and online via Zoom or live stream on YouTube. Register here for Zoom.

Pre-registration is required if taking refuge for the first time. Sorry, registration is now closed.

Taking refuge is making a commitment to Buddhism as one's spiritual path and creates a strong karmic bond to the refuge master.  During the ceremony, registered students who are taking refuge for the first time will be given their Tibetan refuge name by Khensur Rinpoche.
