Sunday Morning Meditation ~ now offered in person and on Zoom!

Meditation is a foundational tool for Buddhist spiritual practice. One's suffering and one's happiness is dependent upon one's mind. To ensure for ourselves the happiness that we so ardently desire, it is essential that we begin each day with a peaceful and calm mind.

What to expect:

Sunday Morning Meditation will last ~45 minutes.  The Sunday Morning Mediation Leader will begin each session with motivation and prayers, followed by 15 minutes of seated silent meditation, then 10 minutes of optional walking silent meditation, followed by another 15 minutes of seated silent meditaion, and will conclude with dedication and prayers.

Participating in person at Kadampa Center:  Please adhere to COVID protocols and plan to arrive before 9:00 am to find seating and to get settled.

Participating via Zoom:  Registration is required - click here to register, after which you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining via Zoom. Please log on no later than 9:00 am.

Each and every one is invited to come. You will find it to be a wonderful and relaxing way, not only to begin your day, but also your week.  All are welcome regardless of one's level of practice.
