In a rare and precious opportunity, Khensur Rinpoche will confer a White Tara Long Life initiation at Kadampa Center.
DATE-TIME
This is a Kriya Tantra initiation, one of the lower levels of Tantra initiation. Students who take the White Tara empowerment should anticipate that they may be given a commitment to do a daily practice with this initiation.
In order to take the initiation, a student must have taken refuge, and should have at least a good intellectual understanding of the three principal aspects of the path - renunciation, bodhicitta and emptiness.

Sera Jey Khensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Delek, the former abbot of Sera Jey Monastic University in southern India and of Gyüme Tantric College, one of the foremost teachers of the "Five Major Texts" at Sera Jey, one of the last living masters educated at Sera Jey Monastery in Tibet - and, the last living teacher of our own beloved Resident Geshes, Geshe Gelek Chodha and Geshe Palden Sangpo - will confer this initiation.
