Tara Statue Sponsorships
Our gompa is full of the energy of the 21 Taras, who reside on the altar.

Sponsoring a statue provides immeasurable benefit to both the sponsor and to all who see this holy object.
“With holy objects such as statues, stupas, and scriptures, you do not have to have a mind unstained by anger, ignorance, or attachment to create merit. For human beings or even animals, simply seeing the holy object becomes the cause to achieve inconceivable awakening and enlightenment by purifying so many defilements. The special advantage is that just by their existence these holy objects make it easy for us ordinary living beings to create merit.”

So far, 18 of the 21 statues, including the large Green Tara, are sponsored. There are only two full sponsorships available and one Tara is partially sponsored and is available for those who wish to join in a shared sponsorship!
Everyone who participates in this special opportunity to sponsor our Tara statues will be acknowledged and appreciated in mulitple ways!
Full sponsorship of each individual statue is $2,100. In order to provide opportunity for everyone to be part of this, we're also offering joint sponsorships, where folks can combine their donations to reach the full amount. If you sponsor at $700 or more, your name(s) will be placed on the altar near the tara statues.
