Sponsor Khensur Rinpoche's visit

We rejoice in the wonderful opportunity to make an offering to Khensur Rinpoche by sponsoring his visit to Kadampa Center. By helping to support these teachings, we are repaying the kindness he has shown in sharing the Dharma with us.

Our support of these teachings is a rare occasion to practice generosity in the context of an extraordinary holy and highly realized being, by making his teachings available to as many people as possible. It is our gift to other sentient beings, a practice of the perfection of generosity.

This amazing opportunity comes with practical, down-to-earth considerations. Our budget for this four-week visit is over $30,000, including air travel from India for Khensur Rinpoche and his attendants, legal fees to apply for a visa, care of Khensur Rinpoche and his attendants while they are in town, offerings on behalf of all our members, and other incidentals.

Kadampa Center literally could not offer these teachings without the support of sponsors, who step up and generously give at a level that helps us cover the expenses involved in bringing a high-level teacher and his attendant from India and hosting them for a month. We are very grateful for their incredible kindness. Our center needs donations at every level to cover both the costs of this visit and the ongoing costs of operating the center while he is here.

SPONSORSHIPS ~ begin at $500, and sponsors will receive the following benefits:

An opportunity to participate in offering the mandala to Khensur Rinpoche. Sponsors of initiations/empowerments will offer the mandala at that initiation/empowerment.
An invitation to attend a private event with Khensur Rinpoche.
An opportunity to write a dedication, which will be shared with Khensur Rinpoche and posted for all to read. Dedications may be offered anonymously

DONATIONS ~ are heartfelt offerings in any amount

We rejoice as well in the amazing generosity of donors, who might not be able to give at the sponsorship level. The kindness of donors is equally precious and meritorious.
All donors, toward Khensur Rinpoche's visit, will receive:
- A beautiful photo of Khensur Rinpoch, suitable for your altar.
- All donor names will be shared with Khensur Rinpoche.

HOW TO SUPPORT THE TEACHINGS

Supporting the teachings is a two-step process:

Dedications may be very simple - "For my mother, Rosemary" - or they might encompass more extensive spiritual wishes, such as "May these teachings be the cause to liberate all sentient beings," or wishes for the teacher's long life, to benefit a person who is ill - any heart-felt positive intention! You can also dedicate for more than one intention.
