Introduction to Mindfulness is an FPMT introductory course presenting mindfulness and the different meditative techniques for cultivating this quality, which may lead to greater calmness and a better understanding of our own habitual reactions.  While this 5-week course does not have a prerequistie, it is recommended for students who already have a meditation practice or have some meditation experience, such as those who have completed the FPMT Buddhist Meditation 101 course.

HOW TO ATTEND CLASS

  1. In person at Kadampa Center ~ the best, most beneficial way to attend

  2. Join via Zoom ~ a good alternative for those who don't live locally

  3. Livestream on YouTube ~ a non-interactive choice

In keeping with Kadampa Center tradition, we do not request a fee to attend this class -- the Dharma is too precious to let money be an obstacle to hearing teachings.
