Retreat Hermitage

A one-room rustic single-person retreat hermitage is kindly offered by our friend and member, Noland Thuss, for others to use. It is located in the woods of his farm in Alamance County. Surrounded by nature, silence and solitude, this is an ideal place for intensive personal Buddhist practice and meditation.

Visitors should be prepared to be self-sufficient and some basic camping supplies are helpful. There is no running water, electricity, or kitchen/food prep facility, but there is a composting toilet and a bed.
