Support the Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour

Kadampa Center is very fortunate to be able to bring the Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour to our community. If you saw the relics when they were at the Center in 2010, you may remember it as an especially meaningful experience.  The relics are beautiful and being in their presence can be an inexplicable and profoundly moving experience for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike.  The tour spreads a message of peace and tolerance and immense positive merit is created around the relics and by being in their presence.

Please plan on coming to the Center and seeing the Relics during these hours:

  • Friday, Nov 21, 6pm-8pm Opening Ceremony
  • Saturday, Nov 22, 10am-7pm
  • Sunday, Nov 23, 10am-5pm

Please share the dates and times of the tour with your family and friends.

Our hope is that 2,000 people will see the relics while they are in Raleigh.

Want to volunteer your time? We have a special Volunteer Spot calendar to sign up! Just go to this page: http://vols.pt/mwnJt5

If you would like to help with the costs of Kadampa Center's hosting of this event, your donation is important and will be greatly appreciated.  The Center has committed to provide advertising, supplies, meals, and logistical support for the tour.

Donation boxes to either Kadampa Center or directly to the Relic Tour will be available during the weekend for gifts. Feel free to give to both.

While Kadampa Center’s donation boxes are always available, we encourage you to make donations directly to the Relic Tour at specifically marked boxes during the weekend.

This event is only possible by your generosity.

Sponsors will be thanked at the event and can provide a personal dedication to be read; or sponsors may remain anonymous.

Financial Donation Opportunities

Your heartfelt gift in any amount is greatly appreciated and creates the cause for you to have a connection with the relics.

Donations can be made online, by check mailed to Kadampa Center, cash/check in the donation boxes or credit card (in the bookstore) at the Center.  Your donation positively impacts the Kadampa Community--thank you so much for your generosity.
