Chökhor Düchen celebrates Shakyamuni Buddha's first teaching, or turning of the wheel of Dharma. On this holy day we will do a group recitation of the Vajra Cutter Sutra, each person taking a turn to read a page (if we wish; it's also OK to participate by listening). We will also read Heart Sutra, the Buddha's teaching on emptiness. This online event can be accessed via Zoom or our YouTube channel. |
