Retreats

Weekend and one-day retreats - throughout the year weekend and one-day retreats are offered both at the center and in offsite residential settings.

Light of the Path Retreats - a series of special two-week retreats with our Spiritual Director, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, at a facility in Black Mountain, NC. The basis for the teachings are the fundamental text Lamp of the Path by Lama Atisha, but Rinpoche has taught on many other aspects of practice as well.  The teachings at the Light of the Path retreats have become the basis of a fundamental education course through FPMT called Living in the Path.

Other opportunities - We also encourage exploring retreat opportunities at FPMT retreat centers, which are designed and located in beautiful remote areas with staff and faciltlies dedicated to supporting practices in both individual and group retreats.  FPMT provides a master retreat schedule to help check for retreats all around the world.
